Abroad Chronicles continued.

Its been a minute….πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Have you ever held your poop for days? Or even your number one for hours? How was the experience?

Well, sometimes situation once in a while put us in some awkward moments. Suffice to say you just followed and thought it is obvious there will be toilets. Have you ever thought what would happen if you found yourself in a location without a toilet? Most probably you have some days in that area? Or even the available washrooms are smelly, dirty, almost falling or even different from what you are used to?

Needless to say, being in the mission field this is not alien. I have been to places where the entire community has no single toilet. If you build one for them, open defacation will happen just around the built toilet.. Interesting story!

This reminds me, last year I did a trip to a cut off community. We kept joking, its 14hrs drive. We would look around for habitable bush and we request the driver to allow us to visit the toilet. We vowed to try and do poop openly just to confirm it is possible. Crazy? I know right!

Mission is made of such moments, allowing yourself to be stretched a little, maybe inconvinience you, or even irritate you. Why? Comfort zone is limiting in appreciating many things.. The foresaid trips gives me perspective and shifts my mind..

I love introspection after such trips. It makes me appreciate many things I have taken for granted.. Now, the past week experience made me hold on poop for four days… But finally nature had to take its course. Story for another day….πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I love such moments abroad chronicles are sweet..
